SEO case study: Working with a specific branch of a long term client on a new project with them, they requested SEO support for their independent website. The aim was to increase business, but not any business, but quality business that generated more profitability for them. The first thing we needed to do was to ensure all these points of conversion were tracked and measured. This then meant we could measure our successes for the client.
They set us the following challenge:
- Increase sales leads through SEO
- Aim to surpass previous years growth and sales leads for a similar cost
- Do this all within the first year
We did this by:
- Reviewing their website, existing content and existing SEO structure.
- Reviewing their competition and the gaps we could fill, to gain quick wins.
- Looking at the keywords that generated the most profitable leads and focusing on this.
- Creating content that would do help fill the gaps and improve the SERPs (Search Engine results Pages) position of the best keywords to generate the highest quality sales leads.
The Campaign:
SEO is an ongoing challenge that we embraced for this particular B2B company. We worked hard on not just looking at the SEO structure and improving it, but also suggesting improvements to the UX (User experience) on the website, thus making every extra click we generated count for more.
Challenge Achieved:

Within the first quarter of 2023, as compared with the first quarter of 2022, we had increased the number of visitors to the site by 19.32% and the number of sales leads by 13.16%. With access to their CRM (Client Relationship Manager), we could also determine that the average sales lead potential value had increased and that their internal conversion rate from a lead to a sale had also improved, which can only be the case if the lead quality was also improved. The client continues to be delighted with the work we have delivered so far.
